Your poetry publishing champion.

Hi, I’m Kallie, and I’ve worked with over 300 authors to get their books ready for publication.

I’ve been published in Verse Daily, Black Warrior Review, PANK, CutBank, The Journal, Puerto del Sol, Carve, Juked, Hotel Amerika, Booth, Paper Darts, Sidereal, Zymbol, Josephine Quarterly, Amazon’s Day One, Forklift, Ohio, BOAAT, and elsewhere.

I’ve also been on the other side of things. I work as an associate editor of december mag, and I’m the founder of (now defunct) Kenning Journal, previous managing editor of Mikrokosmos, and previous interviewer for American Microreviews. From running a literary journal and submitting work to choosing poems to publish and organizing a collection, I can help you get ready to publish!

If you are at all considering having another pair of eyes look at your work, have it be Kallie. She’ll undoubtedly help you pinpoint the areas to strengthen your writing and in doing so, you’ll watch yourself flourish as a reader and writer faster than you ever thought possible.

Kallie Falandays is just as gifted a teacher as she is a poet (and that is really saying something.) She will take your poem and ask just the right questions and suggest just the right directives to mold your poem into something you envisioned, but were unable to execute on your own.
